Do you like celebrations? They are nice for sure. Especially when you are the one celebrating something. You get the cake, presents, everyone is nice to you. The world is sparkling and you are the centre of it all. But not every celebration is pleasant. Yoochun, the party maniac that won´t let go of the mike in noraebang* unless falling asleep, hates his own birthday parties from the time he was born. Why you might ask? Well, the answer is easy. His parents, always arguing, were trying their best to make the day as special as it might be but always failed. With no way out of the house, Yoochunnie ended in his room, ears covered with headphones, ignoring the world around him. He felt it was his own fault his parents were arguing and that is why he didn´t want to celebrate his birthday ever again. The fear his parents will argue once again was bigger than his own desire for new toys.
When he started high school, there was this cute girl that came to him once day, asking "Will you eat lunch with me?". Yoochun agreed and they enjoyed a nice picnic under a big tree, talking with puffy cheeks and laughing together.
Later, the girl gave him a kiss on his wide forehead saying "Your birthday gift from me." and Yoochun thought to himself that birthday can not be that bad in the end. They started dating after a few days and Yoochun was happy as never before. But nothing last forever and this relationship did not survive their one-year anniversary. Being dumped on his next birthday, Yoochun omitted his birthdays completely. Forgetting his own birthday, he lived unnoticed until this agency picked him from the crowd of black-haired boys and he signed a contract with them. His life changed drastically. Lazy hours spend gazing to the sky were replaced by hours of sweating, dancing and working out. Since music has always been his passion, Yoochun decided to take upon this challenge and make it to the stage. What a surprise he got when he was told he can´t go solo. Instead of having the stage all to himself he was put into a group with unknown guys.
Jaejoong, the eye catching boy.
Changmin, the one whose stomach had no end.
Junsu, who mastered the art of being cute.
And their self-assured leader, Yunho.
Four new friends.
Of course, they were fighting over and over again but Yoochun could tell the difference between their play-fights and the fights his parents used to have. Five strangers were put together, became friends, the bromance grew between them and the bond they shared deepened. And Yoochun found a new family.
"Your divorce has torn me apart," he whispered once when moving his things to the dorm and finding the photo of his parents. "But I am stronger now."
And then it happened again.
Yoochun came home and they jumped on him, screaming "Happy birthday" at the same time. Yoochun was astonished by the fact they remembered his birthday despite their packed schedule and only a little pocket-money to buy him something to celebrate. He was touched by all the gifts he received. Someone might say the gifts were old or not worth giving, but for Yoochun they were the best gifts of all. Jaejoong composed a duet for them called "Melody and harmony". Yunho gave him a guitar Yoochun longer for for such a long time. It didn´t matter it was a scratched guitar, he was its new owner now that mattered. Changmin baked a cake for him and was even generous enough to let him have a piece before eating it all by himself. That was something his maknae never did before so Yoochun hug Changmin with a smile. Junsu, his cute room mate, finally cleared his half of the room so Yoochun could easily access his bed without swimming through the mass of dirty clothes. And Yunho? Well, this leader showed his nice side as well. He gave Yoochun the very first dollar he got when he was working to support himself and his family. Since he could not buy anything with one dollar because they are using wons in Korea, Yunho kept the coin as a lucky charm. This very coin was watching over them for the next years, covered with glass, hanging in a frame above their dining table. This coin greeted them when they came home, laughed with them, cried with them and has been with them all the time.
And then... this very coin disappeared during their moving to a bigger apartment. Everyone was sad because of it. Yunho and Yoochun were depressed and the others tried their best to raise their moods by giving them various funny gifts. And this is how their very interesting custom was born - They started an untold battle of who will give the funniest gift. Every time someone´s birthday was near the dorm buzzed with excitement and secret planning. In the evening of the "day D" the celebrant picked the winner, the one who gave him the most absurd gifts. Everyone enjoyed the hunting for the gifts, the unpacking and using the gifts after that. Some gifts were indeed funny, some were nasty, some were not usable but they still continued this custom. It was much better than thinking of the best, the most desirable and most perfect gift.
Now, the year has turned around again and it is Yoochun who is celebrating his birthday next.
What will his friends give him?

I do not really like the colouring because some words are hard to read like this so I think I will be using only bolding for the inputs, what do you think?
