When your soul is broken what you need is not a glue to make it right, what you need is love
Genre: angst, romance
„I wanted to thank you… for taking care of me… and such,” Jaejoong said in a low voice when they were sitting next to each other in the living room.
“You are welcome.”
“The shirt is clean. I don´t need it anymore but thank you for it.” Jaejoong pointed to the bag that Yunho put on the table before. Jaejoong was glad he found it to use it as an excuse to meet him again.
“I gave it to you so you have to keep it,” Yunho shifted the bag to Jaejoong.
“I think you need it more now,” Jaejoong smiled shyly. Yunho was still wearing a bathrobe only. He was feeling a bit cold but his heart was warm under the smile Jaejoong gave him. That was just as he imagined him smiling. So bright, so warm.
“I was in the shower when you came… I thought we will never see each other again.”
“Me too,” Jaejoong nodded and moved the bag in front of Yunho. “Take it.”
Yunho glanced over the bag´s content. It was the shirt he gave to Jaejoong earlier. “Does it still hurt?” he asked when he accidentally touched Jaejoong´s hand. Jaejoong shook his head but Yunho put the bag aside and took his hand into his. He knew immediately Jaejoong didn´t replace the bandages in the time they didn´t see each other. It was the same as Yunho left it.
“You didn´t replace it?” he shrieked in horror. “An infection. Do you know what that is?” Jaejoong only shrugged. “I will take a look at it. Wait a sec.” Yunho went to get the first aid kit. When he came back he found Jaejoong as he left him. “You have to take care of your injuries. How about your shoulder?” Yunho sat closer to him but Jaejoong didn´t make a move and so Yunho had to unbutton his shirt himself to see the bandages on his shoulder. It was hard not to touch him more than necessary. Jaejoong was still sitting there silently. Yunho disinfectioned his wounds and put a new bandages and plasters on it.
“It looks better,” he noted in a whisper. Jaejoong was watching his every move, wondering why the feeling of love enveloped him. He wasn´t sure before but now he knew well how much he is into this man in front of him.
Yunho wanted to button up Jaejoong´s shirt again but remembering the last time he did so he stopped halfway. He took hold of Jaejoong´s shoulders and bent his head on his chest.
“Why did you come? Only because of the shirt? So I can nurse your wounds?” Yunho asked, hurt. “Why are you here?” Jaejoong took his chin and lifted it up to look into Yunho´s eyes.
“I wanted to tell you something… I am… I…” his throat was soar. He decided to act instead of talk. Moving closer he kissed Yunho on lips. Yunho was shocked at first but then his hand slid under Jaejoong´s open shirt to his back and he knew this was right. So right! He laid Jaejoong on the sofa and kissed him back. Jaejoong was horrified at first from the new feeling of kissing another man but it soon disappeared in a sea of happiness. The world stopped existing and there was just him and that other man.
Suddenly Yunho pulled away. He had to know something. Something that was very important. Something that was troubling his for the past few days and nights.
“What is your name?”
Jaejoong smiled sweetly and started to spelling his name, with each letter he kissed Yunho on the arm, on his nose, on his lips…
“Jaejoong,” he repeated at once and kissed Yunho once more.
Yunho let the name slid his tongue. “Jaejoong… Jaejoong…” He caressed Jaejoong´s face. “What a beautiful name you have.” He kissed him with passion on lips and smiled when Jaejoong hungrily opened his bathrobe. “My name is Yunho,” Yunho said quickly before it was too late.
“Nice to meet you,” Jaejoong whispered when Yunho pulled him closer for another kiss.
